Invisalign® Information
If you would like to achieve a more aligned look but do not like the idea of traditional metal braces, Invisalign® can help you get incredible results, discreetly. Your teeth will be gently moved into the proper position with aligners that are transparent and removable as you wish.
How Does Invisalign® Work?
Sets of clear, custom-made aligners are changed out every two weeks to slowly move your teeth into position. You will wear your aligners for 22 hours per day, so you can take them out to eat or for social functions. You would not need to stop by The Dental Spa Bondi for regular adjustments, and your teeth can be cleaned as usual once the aligners are removed. Invisalign® is comfortable without pain involved and leaves you feeling free to live your life.
There are five separate steps to completing treatment with Invisalign®:
- A preliminary consultation. Without obligation, you will be given all the information you need to determine whether you feel Invisalign® is suitable for you.
- Gathering information. If you decide to move forward, we will send all the necessary data to Invisalign’s® laboratories for computer imaging.
- Treatment details. Once we have received information back from Invisalign®, we will go over the treatment details such as time frames. You will also receive a CD with pictures showing what you can expect.
- Getting started. If you decide to commence treatment, your aligners will be ordered, usually arriving within two weeks. After you begin wearing them, we will see you at regular intervals to check your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
- Revealing your results. When treatment has been completed, you will have a night retainer or orthodontic wire on the lower teeth to ensure your results are maintained.
